Astra Tech Dental towards digital future
Astra tech Dental has used e-learning to reach out fast with new updates. Now they investigate what other functions e-learning may fill.
Ninna Klock is project manager for the e-learning educations at Astra tech. She has followed the development during the past three and a half years.
- So far we have worked internally with our sales department, but now we are looking at options on working towards our clients.
Astra Tech Dental chose e-learning because it was the most efficient way to certify that larger groups could access the same information at the same time. Another strong argument was the possibilities of rating the results and the automatic registration of user participation.
Articulate Online
Astra Tech has produced all their educations in Articulate Online. In preparation for their external staking they are currently investigating if Articulate is still their most suitable partner. As part of their pre-study report they took part in a workshop at TicTac.
- The workshop was tailored according to our needs so it was very rewarding, says Ninna Klock.
Nonetheless, nothing is written in stone. Ninna Klock sees great advantages with Articulate’s user friendliness and sufficiency, but she also notes limitations since Articulate cannot publish their courses on all platforms.
- There’s so much happening now within digital media that we’ll have to stand back and think twice before making a final decision, she says.
One thing appears certain though, and that is that Astra Tech is going towards a digital future – and that they are determined to find the best way to get there.
