Information for young people
Information Arbetsmarknad provides education materials for lower secondary school and for secondary schools. The purpose of the material is to provide youth with updated information about education and employment in order to stimulate their interest and spark initiatives. Information Arbetsmarknad functions both as a directory, as a touring presentation and via the Internet.
Inspiration Clips
The Future Train (Framtidståget) is a presentation touring schools all across Sweden. The presentation focuses at various career and educational options, taking examples from business, industry and universities to demonstrate the scope of possibility. The presentation is a mix of live talks and short films. We have created six inspirational clips that are included in the presentation as thought-provoking interludes.
Web development: The Future Machine
Another project that we have created for Information Arbetsmarknad is the Future Machine (Framtidsmaskinen). The Future Machine is a Facebook-integrated website for secondary school students that facilitates the process of selecting a high school and curriculum.
Making a good choice requires access to relevant information and the right dose of inspiration – while it is also a matter of individual preference. The Future Machine has a personality test that meets these criteria by calculating each student’s “dream career” in regards to their individual profile. The test also gives an indication of the following:
- Which professions are a good match for you
- Which curriculum is most appropriate for you
- What schools offer the curriculum you are most interested in
- What companies and organizations that may be interested in you and your career
