We have been given the great honor to make an education for the Swedish Public Radio. After plenty of negotiation TicTac proved most suitable and was granted the privilege to create a web-based education about the new discrimination law.
We chose to structure the course according to four individual’s stories about how they are commonly discriminated against in Sweden. The persons told their stories and the users were given the chance to ask questions and compare the answers to the law. The law of discrimination states that it is forbidden to discriminate against anyone on the basis of:
- Age
- Gender
- Sexual orientation
- Transgender identity
- Ethnic belonging
- Physical handicaps
It is worth mentioning that the three first – age, gender and sexual orientation – includes everybody, and is thus something that we can all be discriminated for.
We chose to enhance the social aspect of the course by linking some questions to blogs where the users could continue their discussion, and read the opinions and thoughts of others.
Another function that contributed to the social aspect was that all the users got access to what their colleagues had answered. All the answers were anonymous, so the access only granted everybody the ability to compare their answers to the general opinion.

SRF is a knowledge- and service company that is responsible for common service and support functions for the three public service companies in Sweden; The Swedish Television, The Swedish Public Radio and The Swedish Educational Radio, as well as remaining companies within the public service- group.
