Our job is to communicate knowledge that leads to progress. Most people having our job lectures in front of large groups and then hands out written exams. But we do not – since we are convinced the most important aspect of teaching is to convey how to become self-taught and independent in your learning.
Connecting Your Future
We currently produce the same amount of information every other day that we produced in total up until 2003. In order to make any sense of this a strategy is essential. We have summarized our approach in three Connecting Points:
- Connecting Your Strategy
We extract the relevant knowledge and identify the target group of the course. Thereafter we set up goals and decide on a number of measurable variables that allow us to analyze the impact and value of the course.
The strategy helps to organize your learning over time and forms the basis of a long-term knowledge bank.
- Connecting Your Knowledge
When the strategy is finished we make an in-depth analysis of how to communicate the relevant knowledge. In this step we analyze the target group and decide on methods for communication, including type of pedagogy, most suitable programming tools and services, and ideal distribution channels.
- Connecting Your Team
Working with digital solutions comprises the most significant difference between traditional learning institutions and modern learning institutions. The flexibility of digital systems, and the great possibilities for adapting to individual needs, has completely reformed the way we think about collective learning. E-learning allows each user to learn at his or her pace, leaving no one behind and creating infinite possibilities for in-depth studies and specialization. The educations can be distributed via a range of channels; on the web, as part of a Learning Management System, on tablets, mobile phones, laptops and so on.
