Scenario-based pedagogy is a method that aims to change the behavior of the user in specific situations. For example, the course may deal with how to react in a case of emergency or how to get rid of prejudices. Scenario-based pedagogy places the user in problematic situations that the user has to solve. The intention is to simulate reality and allow the user to practice his or hers behavior.
This type of course activates several centers in the brain because of its emotional stimuli, and evokes reflection in the user. It can be difficult to measure the results of scenario-based pedagogy but the method is undoubtedly the most effective means to change behaviors and create awareness.
